About Scrubs & Frames
Eight medical doctors, frustrated with the spread of misinformation about healthcare on social media platforms, decided to take action. Patients falling prey to quacks and false information had become a common issue. With their hard earned knowledge and training, they aimed to create a positive change. This marked the beginning of a movement led by this collective of eight doctors, who launched an online healthcare platform called Beyond Rounds. The first video featured Dr. VP Gangadharan, a renowned oncologist from Kerala. To reach the common people and convey messages in the simplest way possible, the platform was started in the vernacular language -Malayalam.
In a short span, they produced over 500 health awareness videos, featuring 73 doctors from various specialties and counting. They have a professional video production team and an editorial team of doctors who ensure that only evidence based content is shared.
Several doctors, medical professionals, and NGOs have expressed interest in scaling up the initiative and initiating community outreach events ,all for the cause of promoting good health.
To support Beyond Rounds financially, they decided to establish Scrubs and Frames ,a healthcare consultancy including healthcare marketing specialists and doctor entrepreneurs.
